What is Kostrate® Edge?
Kostrate® is a rubber modified ter-polymer that is tough, clear and ductile, used in injection molding, extrusion (profile/sheet) and blow molding. It allows molders to reduce overall processing costs without compromising performace and at the same time provides superior toughness. Kostrate® Edge flows up to one-third faster than competing clear resins when processed at similar temperatures. It can flow the same distance at significantly lower temperatures, resulting in shorter molding cycles. With it's low specific gravity as compared to other engineered clear resins, it produces more parts per pound with less molded-in stress resulting in higher productivity.
